How do you catch monsters?
I've tried setting up traps with short entrances then a pit. They don't see me. If you have caught them pleeeeeeeeeeese tell me.

Try digging a hole two or more blocks deep for the Monsters to fall into, then create a platform but use glass as a ceiling for the pit so you can walk on the glass(over the monsters) and still be seen..
** make sure you leave space for Monsters to fall into the hole
* also zombie and skeletons die in sunlight so place either a water block in the hole so there's water flooding the bottom or fashion yourself a house overtop of your glass floor.
