Question for Minecraft: Pocket Edition
The Controls are gone and I sometimes can move sometimes not.The Inventory is also gone.Please Help Me!

If it's on 0.7.1 go to options and it will say hide this and this and don't hide it but if it doesnt work dude I'm stoped

I have the same exact problem and I was wanting to crossplay with my siblings but I can't because the arrows are missing, it only says Y for craft and X for inventory, what do I do, I can't connect an xbox contoller to my kindle fire, HELP!!!

My sister had this same problem on Kindle - seeing gamepad inputs "Y Inventory" and "X Crafting". Fix was to go into settings and turn off "Touch -> Touch only affects hotbar"

On the 8.1 version if you get that problem go into options and click on the graphics tab. After that slide the "Hide GUI" the opposite way it's on. That should help turn all of your inventory and Controls on again.

Ok to get your controls back you need to go settings and go to controls make the button bigger at 72% than refresh. Hope I helped

My son was having the same problem and as I was looking for the answer he went into settings on the home screen and just put everything back to the default settings and they came back.

If you have no Controls on your Minecraft PE then you need to go into options and slide 'Hide GUI' to off. To get into option you need to press around the top right of the screen to bring up the options menu. Just keep press different areas to fix it.

It did not work. Tapping did nothing. So I went through the settings tab at the beginning of the game...under video and Hide/unhide brings up just the inventory boxes which look empty.Guest answered:

Go to options if you can't see it just click the top corner because I couldn't see it either anyway after that go on graphics and go to the very bottom and switch off hide GUI and then go off it and your Controls should be back, hope this helped xx🏠

Go into your options and onto the developer tab and unclick Hide GUI

Sometimes it's because hide GUI is on. Go into the in-game options, hit the last tab at the bottom left of the screen, scroll down, and hit the "hide GUI" toggle switch.
That should solve the problem! But make sure the hide GUI toggle switch is on when you tap it. The hide GUI toggle switch should now be off. Enjoy!

When you hit the pause button in either the top middle or top left of your screen, you will see a screen that has the buttons RESUME GAME, SETTINGS, ACHEIVEMENETS, HOW TO PLAY, and SAVE & QUIT. Hit SETTINGS.
Go to the VIDEO button on the left side of the screen. There is a button that says HIDE HUD, which will hide your inventory and Controls, including the pause button, so remember where your buttons are. You can hide your hand in the same place as the HUD, just scroll down until you see the button HIDE HAND. All this does is hide your hand.
I found these settings when I was trying to make a pocket edition roleplay video. I hope these directions were useful.

Went into control>setting (touch screen) and hit ‘reset default’ and arrows came back and can move character around.

Its a MCPE bug it happens on any server But if it doesn't happen in your own world it could be that the space inventoryof your phone isn't enough. I'm facing the same problem and all I do is re log in.

This is not exactly what my problem is but it's kinda same. So my Minecraft menus don't appear for some reason like when I click the menu Icon I can't save and quit or anything it doesn't appear can someone help me with this problem?
