Check your Map, there must be a room that you missed - it's near one of those Transporting Jars; inside the room will be 3 Darknuts - once you beat all of them, you'll get the Boss Key!

Go to the first floor in the giant tower room. Fly onto the bit with the 2 giant livig statues you need to throw bombs at. Go inside and drop down to the bit with the wall masters. Move the wall so that it's flat. Then guide Makar over it. Then use the iron boots on the spring board to get to the floor above. Then use the wind god someting or other to destroy the stone with Makar. Then go inside. You now meed to fight 2 black darknuts and a gold one as well. Kill all of them to open a door to the chest with the key in it!
Oh and don't worry. Me and my friend got right to the door of the boss before we actually noticed we didn't have the key!
