Question for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

I'm really new at this game and I have no idea what I am doing. I'm in the forest place and I am in the room where you have to throw a bomb onto the vine thing to get to a treasure chest. You have to wave the deku leaf at the turning things, but when I do, it wont move so I can't get to the bomb flower on the other side of room!! How do I get there??

Hey zelda girl - you've got the right idea with the Deku Leaf! It's just that it's really picky with the direction that you have to blow on the turning things. Keep swinging and playing with the Deku Leaf - eventually you'll move! Good luck amy =)

blablaboy answered:

Use the deku leaf on the turny things and let them come to you, then make flap the deku leaf the oppisite way you want to go..(if you want to go forward then push the air backward)
Hope it helps --jOsH

Iridium70 answered:

I know you have to blow at the turny things to bring it to you, but I never treid to blow at it again to move forward. All I just do is blow backward, like the propellars on a boat, or the engines on a jet.

P.S. Thanx for the answers to my questions!
