Bah I can't get past that weird plant-like boss in the Forbidden Forest. Can someone please help me??

You have to use your boomerang on each of it's tentacles so it will collapse and you can attack it freely.

What you need to do is, take your boomerang and throw it at all of the strings that hold the plant up. Now, when it opens take out your sword and hit it 4 times. Then run out of the plant and wait for it to close. Keep repeating this until it dies.

Use your boomerang to lock onto the tentacles and cut all of them. Then it will fall down to the ground, run up hit the plant on the inside, but get out before it closes or you'll get eaten.

Use your boomerang to cut the vines holding it to the ceiling, it will fall down then you run into the middle and cut the little thing moving around. Repeat this and you will beat the plant.
