Question for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

bought new Gamecube controllers?? If the R button doesn't work, it's usually the controller that stopped working.

My button works for other games but wind waker, the only thing in wind waker where the r button works is in the pictobox.

Well, I have a question that will puzzle your brain! My R Button only works in Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, and Pokesnap. It also will only work whilst controlling the Seagull in Wind Waker for the Gamecube. It WON'T work when I want to crouch, and I am stuck in jail in the Forsaken Fortress like a derp, having not saved since the first 10 minutes of the game. PLEASE HELP MEE!!!!!!
