AHHHH where are the triforce shards????

I've found all the triforce charts and tingle has read all my maps. But when I go to that area there is no beaming light where the triforce should be. I can't find the shards on outset island, cliff plateau, and Gale isle. I look and look but there is no beaming light, am I doing something wrong?

When you're sailing towards one of the spots on the map where a Triforce shard is, you have to look for the beam of light a long way off before you actually arrive to the spot. Basically, you sail towards the spot, when you see the beam of light take note of the general area the beam of light was, and then sail to where you think it saw the beam of light, then drop the salvage arm and you'll find a Triforce shard.

thanks for the info but i have done that a thousand times (get really far away etc) i tried it again just a few minutes ago and it still didnt work, do you remember where you got those specific triforce shards exactly? Thanks

Make sure that the triforce charts are opened and then you will see a beam of light. That took me at least 3 hours to figure that out.

Ya I know that exactly what I did! It took me forever to figure it out. I felt really stupid afterwords. Its weird b/c I went on youtube to figure out where they were and their triforce shards were in completely different places than mine!

Ok here's the REAL way to do it:you look at your chart press Y and then compare where they are,I know I was near one and I got something that looked like a bomb and then a little octo came out and I had to defeat it
