For some strange reason, Luin was destroyed before I even reached it, and after I saved Pietro, no matter how much money I gave him, the city's restoration progress would not change. I have exited and reentered Luin several times, giving him several thousand gold each time, and still am not getting any results.

This is not my first run through this part of the game, as I nearly beat it once and lost my memory card... I know that in the game, many things change as per certain tiny conditions that you don't even notice. Could someone please help me out here?
