Date of Question: Nov 24 2007 | Question ID: 101372 I'm playing through for the second time, and I've come to Izoold, after fallowing what walkthroughs say to do in order to get to Palamacosta, Max is still "fishing at sea, just be patient and wait for him to return." I've waited four hours and gone the long way around to Hima, Luin, and Asgard. I'd really be pissed off if I had to restart, but I don't think I do. I've talked to the fat guy and everything, but Max is still gone. Help, please, I'm running out of ideas, I can't find the right trigger. |

Have you followed all the events in Asgard and Luin? Also, have you got Sheena? Because you won't be able to go to Palmacosta until you done these story events. So go back to Luin, go to the Tower of Mana, kick Sheena's butt, destroy Luin, go to Luin Ranch and destroy that. Also do the events in Asgard and Balacruf.
Hopefully after all is done and you have Sheena... Max should return! And passage to Palmacosta is available!

First you need to talk to the girl that had a boyfriend that left. Then find a fisherman in the second screen to the left that tells you that he left. Then you go to the girl and she says she needs to talk to the fisherman. Then you go off to give the message.
