Can you earn anything for collecting all A ranks for all missions besides a silver star? And is it possible to get any other kind of star for a level?

Yes, if you get an A ranking (on everything) you unloch Expert mode (harder version of all the levels)
The only unlockable is Expert Mode which is all levels excluding bosses played at once at a really hard difficulty. Hope this helps you out.
