Very well then, the story states that Shadow wants revenge at the doctor. As you may have done, there are several missions where you work for him. The story will tell more clearly than I do, so I suggest you play through the game

Well Shadow wanted revenge on the doctor for Shadow was accused an Android....or is he? There are few missions where you have to help the doctor but the game will explain more than my advice. Hope this helps you out.
