The "extra map" your friend is referring to is the Treasure Map. There is one for each of the three sections of the game (village, castle and island). These do not usually help you through the game. They simply indicate the locations of any treasures you can find. If you are stuck, then feel free to ask for help here.

The map your friend is referring to is the treasure map. It lists where all the treasures are found and is very helpful but not with the game. The regular map is really all you need. Hope this helps.

Dude your freind is a idiot no it doesent help it's just a map that shows you where the treusure in each part of game =/................lol.
