We'll I've never heard of this glitch, but it still stands possible. See all games have their own glitches. Some usually worse than the others, but still this might even exist. But why would you even want too. Their is no reason to run off, it would usually most likely just freeze your game, and you wouldn't want that, atleast I wouldn't.

But overall, their are many glitches and their probably located in SuperCheats "Hints" section on the site, so check it out. I hope I have answered your question best possible, and please don't be shy to continue and I'm always glad to help out.
