How do you dodge the blue winged shells?

They cannot be dodged. Sometimes if you are on a certain level like the one in star cup I think it's called DK Mountain or something like that, when you go through the thing that shoots you to the top of the mountain when you are being chased by a blue shell it will disappear because it can't hit you while you are in the air. But otherwise I'm pretty sure they are unavoidable. Good luck!!!

I don't think you can, at least I haven't found a way of successfully doing it everytime yet - if you do, let me know...

I heard if you boost right before it hits, it will miss, but I haven't tried it yet, so it might not work.
