Mario Kart Double Dash Questions

Whats the best team I should use for the World Cup cause it's driving me nuts loosing in 3rd or second. I use Mario and Toad cause Mario=Pain and Toad=1st or 2nd but I end up in 3rd or 2nd cause of the Petey, Boo, Dk, and Bowser.

Try bowser jr. And diddy kong in the blue baby stroller.

You should use Boswer Jr and Koopa,thats the team I use.

Try different combnations with Mario, Luigi, Toad, Petey Piranha, King Boo, Bowser, and Bowser Jr. These are the best ones to race with.

I do the best with Koopa and Paratroopa in Toad's Blue Kart - you can try them if you want, their Shells help me get and stay in first!

I always use baby Mario and Baby Luigi in the Bullet Bill kart or Yoshi and A baby Mario bro in the red fire kart.

Well I had the same problem but I ended up using koopa troopa and toadette in the toadette kart. Or you could try Daisy and baby luigi in the car that looks like a bomb thing. Good luck!!!

My personal favorite combination is Boo and Petey in the gray pipe car. You recieve giant bananas very often which helps you maintain first place, and the gray pipe has very good acceleration, for a heavy-weight vehicle.

Ok, most people think that you should choose a vehicle with a high level in speed.
But that's not always the best option.

I have found this out by gameplay:
In 150cc mode, the number of stars will represent a top speed.
1 = 54 mp/h
2 = 55 mp/h
3 = 56 mp/h
4 = 57 mp/h
5 = 58 mp/h
See? The difference isn't bigger than that!

However. The difference in acceleration levels is most certainable recognizible!
If you're the kind of player who tend to crash or slip a lot then you should pick small characthers and a vehicle that has at least 4 stars in acceleration.
If you're a player with good driving, turning and dodging skill then you should pick a vehicle with good speed and low acceleration.
And something that always will be useful is a heavy vehicle as they can't be pushed around by any NPC's (Non Playable Characthers)

And I must say that I certainly agree with TubaDude4 that Boo and Petey Piranha in the Boo pipes will be a great choiche: 2 speed, 4 acceleration and 5 weight.

By the way, the Boo pipes has the best acceleration (but the slowest top speed) of all the heavy vehicles.

And one last hint from Creepglitch's world of strategies:
Stay behind at the beginning of the race to get some good items and then make a comeback near lap 2 (or 3). That's what I always do. And I have beaten All cup tour placing 1st in every track on every mode, including mirror. (It is true, and I honestly don't care if you believe me or not. It's up to you.)

Well, I prefer to use fast, small, and powerful. Don't bother with Toad, his special can make it hard to turn sharp corners and possibly sent deep underwater. Mario's too big to get you the fast small carts, so switch to the small people. I personally like to have Bowser Jr and Paratroopa in the bullet bill-shaped cart.

You should use Petey P, and Red Paratroopa. I use it and I got 1st place.

I usually do Toad or Toadette in either toads car or diddys car because diddys car is the best light weight car and toad and toadettes infinite shrooms special helps me to get and stay in first/second place. Only problem is their light weight...

I personally use Paratroopa/Koopa and Toad/Toadette. It doesn't matter which one's you choose just pick your favourites. I use Paratroopa/Koopa for three shells which helps me get up to first and I use Toad/Toadette to get high speeds quickly.

The best team is bowser jr and toad there small and fast and jrs special is really easy to get and it gives out alot of pain.

Try koopa kid or diddy W/paratroopa in the barrel train or para wing .

My personal favourite would be donkey kong and baby luigi because of dk's bannas, and baby luigi chain chomp in dk's kart.

Use somone with good acceleration like my favorite r bowser jr and baby luigi cuzz the chomp and the shell in the red koopa wings

Use bowser jr. And diddy kong in toadette's kart once you get in first all you gotta do is avoid the occasional red or blue shell and then spam giant bananas and bowser shells

My reason for it is both there special are speed relate then a weapon that you hope works. Chomp chain is speed but offensive and super mushroom is a more defensive and ability to be a thief with other people items.

They have good handling and are really fun.
I am a real expert at both of them so I don't get into the water a lot.
