Shoot a dynamite arrow at the little geysers when he is about to walk over one.

Once Magruder is on the ledge, shoot him in the head to anger him. He will start to throw dynamite. Once you anger him enough, he will throw a large pack of dynamite at you. You have to stand by a piller on the left or right side of him on the ground and it will break the piller if you have successfully done this to both pillers the cave will callapse on him.
