How do you make the greatest weapon and ring of invincibility?
I have searched and found every single blacksmith and tailor in my home town, Marrs pass, Alfitaria, AND Shella!
Help A.S.A.P.!!!
Another thing, what's with that Carbuncle dude all about anyway?

The Carbuncle will wake up during the game but dosnt give you any good info.
So there is nothing to worry about.
Personally, I've found that the easiest way to get the ring of invincibility is to get to Alchemist Lv12 in your hometown, this can be frustrating but if you send home raw materials (Iron, Alloy, Bronze etc.), Scrolls (Weapon/Armour Crafting), or seeds anytime you can, you'll get them up levels quite fast.
As for the greatest weapon, I was lucky enough to find it on Myrrh Cycle 2 (The second time the Myrrh Tree is useful) in River Belle Path from a Griffin (the giant birds).
