Winning with exodia means little to nothing. Just saying. Also, you don't summon him, you use his effect and automatically win once you obtain all five pieces in your hand.

duel everyone ten times, win or lose, then he'll pop up, then your have to beat the duke.
after that you must beat all the ghouls to get into mariks pyrimid and beat all stages to duel him.

caution: If you lose to anyone in the pyrimid you will have to find all the ghouls agin to get back into the pyrimid.

You have to unlock the pyramid and beat Marik to unlock the Ghouls and Marik. The ghouls you could look for and beat the random ones 10 times each, but Marik you must go into the pyramid and beat him to unlock.

Also, if you are itching to go back to the pyramid, face all the ghouls and win (when they are stealing cards, not as regular duelists) and you will be sent there a second time, even after beating marik the first time. Off topic but just incase anyone was wondering about the Pyramid.

Note: This game uses an autosave feature. If you are about to lose to someone in the pyramid, TURN YOUR GAME OFF!! You will be back at that duelist and will get to duel them again. There are 4 duelists before Marik, Dark Tea, Dark Joey, and then two random Ghouls.
