I don't think you can but there is 1000's of people saying you can go to space and catch jirachi, then there is people who say you can't so who is write and who is wrong, because I heard I don't know how many times when it reaches Launch #100 the scientist will "we are allowing a civilian into space" or something similar, I have an AR but I prefer only to use it if it is impossible to catch a Pokemon otherwise I try to catch it with out a cheat. So if you can go to space tell me, please.
P.S
I don't want to know the code I have that I got from the cheat pages but I want to know if you can catch it with an AR.

You cannot go to space. In Australia, where I live, you could get Jirachi as a bonus for buying 'Pokemon Channel' which you had to play the game through and you meet Jirachi at the end of the game, and then you are able to download it to your Pokemon Runy or Sapphire if you'd already beaten the E4 in those games.
The people telling you that you can go to space are either lying or mistaken. It would be cool, though...*sigh*
You probably can get it with an AR.
You can get the Jirachi Pokemon if you have 200 Pokemon in the game only in the sapphire or ruby or emerald versions.
I caught all 200, I still need Jirachi so is there a way of catching him when you've caught all 200, By the way I meant to without an AR at the end
That is a rumour. You can get Jirachi from Pokemon Channel however, like I did.
