Where exactly is Mirage Island?(what route and how often would you see it), I know you talk to the Old man in pacifidlog town and he usually says "I can't see MIRAGE ISLAND today..." but if it's there what will he say, and can you catch deoxys or any rare pokemon?

Mirage Island only comes about when you have certain types of Pokemon in your party... But the rules determining these "types" are so convoluted and impossible to understand, that youre better off just catching heaps of Pokemon, and taking them there, to the man, one by one... If you have the right Pokemon, he will see it. "I can see Mirage Island" Surf east of Pacifidlog, and it should be there.
It's not too special. All that's there is a bunch of wild Wynaut (that's the only Pokemon there) and some Liechi berries.

You can find it by talking to the old man that's looking in the window but be careful only certain pokemons should do it because there are rules for him to say "I see Mirage Island".
