The time on my game is not passing by. Is it because I'm saving it too much?

it doesnt have anything to do with saving i think there is something wrong with ur game
There are two explanations for what's going on.
1: There's a glitch. If you can, link up with a copy of Emerald, Fire Red or Leaf Green and trade a Pokemon. This will automatically fix the glitch.
2: Your internal battery is dead. The game can still play, but the in-game clock won't actually do anything. The only fix for this is to either buy a new copy, or find a guide to changing the internal battery in GBA cartridges without damaging them.
If your Hours Played clock is working, then it's probably the internal battery. If it's still claiming that you've only played for 3 minutes when it's obviously been more, than it's probably the glitch. (I dunno, I never experience the glitch myself, as I did the trades the moment I heard about the fix)
