Pokemon Sapphire Questions

Hi, ok my faveourite pokemon is Alakazam and was wondering what the best moves are for it.

In my opinion, the best moves for it are brick break, psychic, shadow ball and recover. Note that I have already used my brick break TM and place this move on the list due to the assumption that since alakazam are able to learn TM01 focus punch they should be able to learn brick break.

Teach it Future sight to attack dark types, not brick break or focus punch because alakazam has really low attack(mine is L55 and has 77 attack and my swampert the same level has 147 attack), and role play can save you sometimes because i used role play on steven's claydol and it could only attack me with ancientpower and my recover would heal all of that damage, and as a kadabra L33 it helped faint kecleon because they would always use faint attack and role play would make me become dark typed after that, so faint attack would do 1/4 the normal damage and kecleon's psybeam wouldn't affect me. Keep psychic and recover and use a lot of carbos and calcium, then mabye you'll be too strong to have recover, but keep it anyway because recovering all the time helps make the opponent struggle. Trick is best for battle tower because otherwise you might accidentally lose good items (my friend lost exp share). If you use trick for battle tower, hold macho brace because it will speed you up and slow down your opponent. Psybeam is only good for extra pp and confusion i deleted it because my mightyena knows swagger and my ninetales knows confuse ray. Just level it up a lot unless you want it L50 for battle tower(i screwed up training and it grew to L51, so i used aggron instead, i bet with alakazam i would get more than 38 wins), or you could breed it with a medicham to get an abra with fire punch and train it to L50 Alakazam that knows Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Double team, and recover, and give it sitrus berry, lax incense, or leftovers.
