Whats the point of the scanner.....and I traded my Pokemon with dig is there a way 2 get another TM Dig

You trade the scanner for the Deepseascale or Deepseatooth to the guy in slateport...
Cheating is the only way to get a new TM dig or catch a Sandshrew...it can learn dig
No there is only one TM and HM in every game unless you have a gameshark/actionreplay.
You trade it for the Deepseatooth, or Deepseascale, which is what you attach to Clamperl to make it evolve.
To get Dig, catch a Trapinch and train it to around Level 43, it learns Dig by then.
