Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Hello there, I have a few questions.

1. Do you HAVE to have a Wailord and a Relincanth when you dive to battle Regice, Registeel, and Regis (I think that's it.) I'm a lazy lard and don't want to try to find Relincanth.

2. Do you know how to get to the dive spot right outside of Pacifidlog town? I tried getting there but a bunch of blue rocks were in the way.

3. When you use the Everstone (the stone found in Dewford cave that stops evolution) If you take it from the Pokemon, will they still evolve later?

4. Where is Sky Pillar? Someone posted about how to get to Mirage Island, and the answerer said that you immediately go right from Pacifidlog and towards Sky Pillar. Is that in EverGrande or something?

5. Should I go to Ever Grande before Mirage Island/ Regice & company?

6. These Pearls and Nuggets and Stardusts....I have tons; do they serve a purpose? Or do I just sell them?

7. About what level should your Pokemon be at when you (a) arrive at Pacifidlog. (b) Go to Ever Grande to go to Victory Road, Elite Four, and Pokemon League? Mine are currently in their lvl 40s at Pacifidlog, with my Blaziken at lvl 67.

8. For the Pokemon League, can you tell me the type weaknesses of SIDNEY, PHEOBE, GLACIA, DRAKE, and STEVEN's pokemon?

FINALLY.

9. What good moves work on ghost Pokemon, prefferably PHEOBE's of the Pokemon League.

Thanks a bunch so much!!

1) Yes, you need Wailord and Relicanth to unlock the Regi's.

2) It takes a long time of precision to get there. Try every tile of current to get there.

3) The Pokemon will not evolve as long as the stone is held. If you take it from them and grow it a level, it will evolve unless you press B.

4) The Sky Pillar is East from Picifidlog Town (to the right) then it's through a jagged path of rocks.

5) Yes, The Regi's aren't overly powerful, just good to have.

6) You just sell them, it's good for money.

7) Those are good levels.

8) Sidneys weakness is Fighting, Phoebes weakness is psychic, Glacia's weakness is thunder/fighting, Drakes weakness is Ice, and Steven's weakness is Fire.

9) Psychic or Dark.

cyber_john3000 answered:

1.yes
2.Your way there is to keep below...not much down ...you will find the dark patch

3.Yes

4.It's in the right of pacifidlog town...go right till you find a swimmer swimming in circles..above him is some rocks and theres a gap..follow that trail and it will lead you to sky pillar

5.I'm pretty sure you can't go to Mirage island....Beat the elite 4..it's very important

6.Just sell them!

7.70+

8.Sidney = Weak against Fighting type attacks
Pheobe= Weak against Dark/Ghost/Psychic attacks
Glacia= Weak against Electric/Fire/Grass/Fighting attacks
Drake= Weak against Ice and Dragon Attakcs
Steven= Fire/Fighting

9. Just give it Psychic and a Dark/Ghost type attack like Crunch/Shadowball

godzillaboy96 answered:

1. You don't have to have them to battle them, just to open their caves.

2. I don't remember.

3. Your Pokemon will still evolve if you take it away from them.

4. You do not get to it until you beat the game. Go to the right of Pacifidlog and stay near the top where the rocks are. Then a little after, you should see a small opening between the rocks that leads to the Sky Pillar. It is not in Evergrande. 5.You can if you want. I don't really bother with that stuff when I play until I beat it. And if you plan on going to Mirage Island, it will probably be a while before you see.

6. Sell them. Then save the money for HyperPotions, FullHeals, and Revives to help you at the Pokemon league.

7.a) You should have them about level 40.
b) You need to have them at level 55 or more.

8. SIDNEY - Fighting, Bug
PHEOBE - Ghost, Dark
GLACIA - Fighting, Fire, Electric
DRAKE - Dragon, Ice
STEVEN - Fighting, Fire, Ground

9. Dark type moves like Crunch and Bite
Ghost type moves like ShadowBall and Shadow Punch.

Hope I helped.

EspeonDude_ answered:

1. Yes, you need them.
2. There's a spot where you need to go and then surf, you'll be dragged to the area where you can goto the Dive spot.

3. Yes, they'll evolve later.
4. No, you go Right and UP at the same time from Pacifilog Town, through the rocks.
5. Yes you should.
6. No. They're just for selling.
7a. Does it matter?
7b. 55 and over.
8. Sure thing:

Sidney: All his Pokmon are Dark type. Bring a Fighting type. Your Blaziken with Sky Uppercut will be a big asset.

Phoebe: All her Pokmon are Ghost. Bring a Ghost type of your own, or something that has a Ghost type move. Sableye has no weakness though, just use your best move.

Glacia: All her Pokmon are Ice type. Bring a Fighting type. Blaziken with Sky Uppercut again will help a lot. Be warned that three of her Pokmon are part Water and can use Surf on you! In that case, bring a pure fighting type like Machamp or Hariyama.

Drake: All his Pokmon are Dragon type. Bring an Ice type. All of them will fall to Ice type moves. Kyogre has Ice Beam, use that!

Steven: His team is focused on the Steel type. However, some are Rock. Bring a Ground type. This will help A LOT.

9. Shadow Ball!

darkaurora answered:

1. No, you don't have to have any of those if you don't want to. I beat the Elite Four with two pokemon(wich is kyogre and blaziken) at level 53.

6.They don't have a purpose. Just sell them, they won't have any effect on your pokemon.

7.(a)When your'e at pacifidlog, your Pokemon should be somewhere around in 40. (b)Your Blaziken is in a good lvl, but you should train your'e other Pokemon to lvl 50 or so.

9.Kyogre is the best in Pheobe's pokemon. Kyogre can make them faint with one water attack that it has(like waterfall.)

Fail95 answered:

1. Yes you need a wailord and a relicanth.

2. from Pacifilog , go left and across the ladder and then surf. Go down before you get to the currents and there will be loads of rocks. Then keep down and go left into the currents. That will take you onto an island with a guy in white stood in the middle. Go left again and surf and go straight on to the next island , this is just plain. Then go down to the bottom of the island and surf again. This will take you onto route 133 and onto a patch of normal sea with twins at the top.carry on left onto the next island and go all the way left to the other side of it. Then go to the bottom again and the current will send you onto another plain island ( route 134)then go left and to the middle of the left side or the island and surf. The current then takes you to a small area or sea and a darker inner area for you to dive < this is where you must go!!!

3. If you take the stone away the Pokemon will evolve unless you press B , but at every level gained it will continue to want to evolve unless it is holding the stone.

4. go right of pacifilog and up and there is an opening in the rocks

5. it doesnt matter , I have the regis and haven't done the elite 4 yet on one of my games

6. they don't really have a purpose so just sell them

7. ( wow this is alot)its best to have all your Pokemon about lvl 60 this gives you the best chance.but about 55 would do.

8+9 - look at cyber_john3000 < he has the answers
