By throwing a ball at it? O_o.

First, weaken it and put it in the "Danger" Zone, or Red HP Bar. Then, afflict a Status condition on it. Start throwing your Ultra Balls or any other Balls you got with you that will work, like a Timer Ball.

You mean locations or what to use to catch them?

Well... Below is out to get each of them:

Kyogre: Cave of Origin in Sootoplis city, after obtaining the badge.

For each of the Regi's, you have to have unlocked them, to do that solve the braille puzzle in the secret chamber just left to Pacifildog town.

Regirock: Desert Ruins (Do Braille Puzzle)
Regice: Route 105 (Do Braille Puzzle)
Registeel: Route 120

Rayquaza: Defeat the elite four and then fly to pacifildog town. Surf to the right and stay to the rocks near the top, then you'll find an opening. Go to the sky pillar and Ray is at the top.

Latias: Defeat the elite four, then Latias appears randomly.

Groudon, Latios, Jirachi and Deoxys have to be either traded from a friend, or obtained using a cheat device.

How to catch them:

I'd use an ultra ball for the Regi's, and Kyogre... For Latias, have a Golbat that knows Mean Look to prevent it from escaping, then use an ulta ball. Use your master ball on Rayquaza.

You save in front of the pokemon. Then you weaken it by attacking. Once it is in the red throw a pokeball, or alot. If you want to do it differently throw a masterball. Beware you only get one try, and one masterball so be sure to save in front.

First get a woobafett because of it's shadow tag ability, wild Pokemon will be unable to flee from you. Next get it down to about yellow health. And last (this worked for me) throw an ultra ball, hold down and tap A repeatedly until the ball stops bouncing. Good luck

When you encounter a legendary pokémon, you better start the fight with a pokémon that knows the move Mean Look (like Golbat or Crobat). I used a different method than the Mean Look method. I trained a Trapinch to a high level to catch all legendary Pokémon. The Trapinch had the Effect of Arena Trap.

It is weird because they told me that effects where useless on legendary pokémon. Anyway, it worked with me!
