What the heck is the space center's point in the game.You never use it in the main story line and there are no items or anything there.All there is are a bunch of people talking about how great space is and that dude who says "that was sucsesfull launch number 10,20,50 ect.Is that guy used for anything?

The space center is nothing...GameFreak couldn't make any more bright ideas so instead they thought..''Hey why don't we put a space center in Mosdeep City just like in the anime series''...
It's part of the Storyline. But not part of the main as you said. It's just there so your rival team can try and use it for their takeover. There is no other point.
No but when you walk in the space center the fat guy looking at the table.He gives you a sunstone witch evolves gloom into bellosum.
It's just there for the opposing team's purpose. Nothing more, nothing less.
