How do you get a shedinja?

Catch a nincanda, leave a space in your party, level your nincanda till it evolves to ninjask,then shedinja will appear in your free space.
Have a space open and the same make of Ball you caught your Nincada with when the Nincada evolves.
Make sure Nincada is ready to evolve(Level 19). Have at least 1 PokeBall in your "Balls" pocket. And also keep a free space in your party. Now level Nincada up another Level, to Level 20. It will evolve into Ninjask. Now check your party, in that free space should be Shedinja.
You have to have a extra slot open when you're nincada evoles into ninjask at level 20
