Hey something really weird happened in my game...my wurmple was supposed to evolve into a silcoon, but it evolved into a cascoon!! How weird is that? I want to know whether that means that there's something wrong with my game.

No nothing is wierd with your game...Wurple has a split evolution...it could go into a silcoo which evolves into a beautifly...or a cascoon which evolves into a dustox...
P.S. Catch more than one pokemon if you're suspicious of split a evolution.
There is nothing wrong with the game. Wurmple evolves into Silcoon if its Attack is higher than Defense, and it evolves into Cascoon if its Defense is higher than Attack.
Nothings wrong, its just a multiple evolution.
I heard somewhere it matters if its day or night or a boy or a girl
Its not weird. Its normal. If a wurmple evolves at night it will evolve into a cascoon. If it evolves during the day it will evolve into a silcoon.
By the way. Silcoon evolves into a Beautifly and a cascoon evolves into a Dustox.

Well, many people believe that to get a Silcoon you evolve a Wurmple during the day and a Cascoon do the smae at night. But that is wrong. Wurmples evolve according to their personality thingoes. I can't give you a list of what Wurmple abilities will make it evolve into a Silcoon or a Cascoon, so just keep cathcing Wurmples and raising them to Level 7 and you'll eventually get what you want
You can breathe, there is nothing wrong with your game. Wurmple can evolve into both Silcoon and Cascoon.
Wurmple evolves into silcoon during the day and cascoon during the night (note that I might have the times of day mixed up)
