If the Mirage Island man in Pacifidlog Town says he can see Mirage Island how do I get there. Where is it? Details please.

Go towards sky pillar immediately. DO NOT CHANGE YOUR PARTY! Don;t go in the sky pillar but keep surfing around the top area and you can't miss it. It is huge but the only pokemon found there is wynaut. There are rare berries and items though.

it practically covers the entire right side of the channel from sky pillar downwards
