I just started a new game and now I'm stuck on the Fortree City gym. I started with Torchic. What pokemon, levels, and moves would I need???

Catch a magnemite in new mauville and get it around level 25-30. Teach it a good electric move like thunder or thunderbolt. On Skarmory, use torchic. (Fire is super efective!)
Catch a zigzagoon trian it to lvl 20-25 and it will evole into linoone then chatch a poochyena then it will learn bite,crunch ext
