If you want an easy game people say to use mudkip if you want a normal game use treeko and if you want a hard game use torchic

the_roach answered:

There really isn't. It really depends on what moves you give your Pokemon and how you train them. But I have both versions. So if I start a new game I decide what Pokemon I want before I start it and breed that Pokemon then trade it to the new game. So I can start the game with good pokemon. Like a Bagon, Milotic, or a Beldum.

annefranman52 answered:

If you mean starter, my personal favourite is Torchic, although they are fairly equal.

Zelda Fan answered:

I would have to say Torchic.

Hope I help

TORCHIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Torchiclvr. It's in the name!!!

grandmastergirl answered:

Hi
I think that the best starter Pokemon to get is Torchic and here are a few reasons why:
- most of the Pokemon in the first half of the game are grass and bug, so are weak against fire
-there arn't many good fire Pokemon avalible in the game and Blaziken is probably the best, and is also a convenient Fire/ Fighting duel type
- In the second half of the game you can use Blaziken's strong fighting and fire moves to easily destroy the fist of the elite 4, not to mention the ice trainer's 2 Glalies

Torchic rules ; )

dangerboy94 answered:

There is no best starter pokemon. They are all equal. None of them gets you an easy way or a hard way through. So whatever people like the best( wich is probally torchic psh.), just pick it.

P.S. Torchic sucks.

human_in_training answered:

My opinion would to not choose mudkip because it becomes a water/ground type and your rival will have Treeko who is a grass type and will be double super effective.
That's just what I think, he can be a good starter sometimes.

lalalolohi answered:

My opinion is torchic because as they level up they get super strong (mine evolved twice and is level 57). He has double kick and can defeat trainers Pokemon untouched. But, if you have a link cable and a friend with a GBA, you can get all three. You transfer them to your freinds and start 3 games. This is what you should do: first game) get 1 Pokemon, sent to friends GBA, starrt a new game second game) do the same with a different Pokemon third game) get the last Pokemon and continue on. Then get the Pokemon back from your friend.

I Say Treeko Becausee Ihtt Evolves Into A Awesome Sceptile

Guest answered:

I would say mudkip, because my brother has this game and he passed it without any problem, and he beat the elite 4 and the champion, without having a fainted Pokemon(He was awsome until, he stopped playing). While he played Pokemon emerald he finished the games at least 30 times.

-MUDKIP ROCKZ

Guest answered:

Guest answered:

If you hav 2 ask tht question you don't deserve 2 play you either go treeco or torchic I mean torchic will always be awsome but treeco evoles into an amazing pokemon

Guest answered:

You should get mudkip, because it can kill the gyms easy

Guest answered:

Bro's mudkip is the best he only has 1 weakness because the ground counters the water. Only ground hurts and it's preety easy to see agrass type coming. Also if you use mudkip there aren't many really easy gyms only 2 at the beggining. Aso the hardest gym is water so you can't really use him. Plus he is a great allround Pokemon so you can't really go wrong with the mudkipz.

Guest answered:

Fire over everything

Guest answered:

Torchic because there are a lot of good water and grass types but not many good fire types.

I have beaten and get 9 batches from treeko to grovle and sepctile
Guest answered:

In sapphire I would say Treeko because there arnt many good grass Pokemon. Also he is good at weakening Kyoger so you can save you masterball for raquaza/Latios

Guest answered:

Get a Bagon ASAP. They are in meteor falls. Salamanca is the most OP Pokemon in the game besides legendaries.

Guest answered:

I will pick mudkip cause my brother suggested the other two but when I follow (his suggestion) It come to be ruined!! But if you oppose my fact (coz it's not opinion because it's true) Or been problem coz you leveled it up But don't want it And I've been blamed up THEN don't PLAY Pokemon

Guest answered:

I say you should choose what you want because the starters are like Rock Paper Scissors water beats fire forebears grass and grass beats water so do what you want or try all three and see wich you like best

Guest answered:

Get torchic, blaziken us the best fire Pokemon in the game and after him theres not many good fire types
