Question for Pokemon Sapphire

Ok heres my question When I got to the Space Center how do you get rid of the glitch where the scientist says thats successful launch no.9999. I NEED TO FIND THE POKEMON ON THE MOON!!! PLEASE HELP ME ANYONE (mainly CROSS STINGER)

If you can't get to the moon the pokemon on the moon is called Jirachi.

This is the Berry Glitch, as you can call it, and this is caused by deterioration of the internal programme in the cartridge. This is characterised by time-based events being suspended. This can be remedied by importing Jirachi from the Pokémon Colosseum bonus disc or the relevant Pokémon Channel programme. But don't get your hopes up — you can't get to the moon after all.
