Pokemon Sapphire Questions

<BR>I am thinking about buying this game - I've heard it's pretty good. I've played previous games (I currently own Silver and Crystal) - and I have a few questions and concerns:

<BR>1) I have heard that you cannot obtain several of the legendary or original Pokemon in this version. Is that true - you cannot get them AT ALL? Or do you merely need a cheat device, etc.? My favorite Pokemon from my Crystal game (my Mew, Celebi, etc.) were the reason I played this dumb RPG, and it makes me sick to think that they'll not be obtainable anymore! *they were SO cute! * I've also seen the new Pkmn and I don't think they're as cute (and that's what I'm goin' for guys :-D)

<BR>2) Are Rub/Sap not compatible with G/S/C? So I can't trade monsters within my other games or with my friends? Can you or can you not trade/transfer Pokemon from Crystal (as an example) to the Sapphire version?

<BR>3) I have heard taht with an 'action replay' that you can obtain those rare 'missing' pokemon. What exactly are these - and how can I get one? Can you buy 'action replays' off eBay? I live in a small town where I cannot simply go to the electronic department of a department store and obtain one. If you can get them off ebay, what key words shoudl I use? Ex - should I just type in 'action replay game boy advance' Or can you just use an ordinary game shark?

Here are your answers.
1)Being as you got celebi/Mew on Pokemon crystal/silver, you must yet again use a cheat device.
2)No you can't trade Pokemon from crystal to sapphire
3)You can use ANY cheat device andyou can get monsters of the cheat device.If you want an action replay of eBay just type in Action replay GBA.

Hi there no point on getting Pokemon sapphire as Pokemon emerald is coming in october the 21st no you carnt trade to and from gold and siver and red blue and yellow if you want action replay go to your nearest game or game station

I think you should buy Emerald instead because there are some better things about it like you can catch both Groudon and Kyogre. Plus there's the Battle Frontier not the Battle Tower or whatever is in Ruby and Sapphire. Yes it is true that you can't find them in the game but you can trade with Fire Red or Leaf Green. But in Silver you couldn't obtain the legendary birds from b/r/y unless you traded. You can use a cheat devise if you really want the pokemon. If you want cute Pokemon you might think that jirachi is but maybe not. I think spheal is kinda cute though and torchic too.
Yes, you can't trade with those games. With Sapphire (and Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald and Ruby) you can only trade with these games: Fire Red, Leaf Green, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire. With B/R/Y/G/S/C you can only trade with B/R/Y/G/S/C.
I don't know about the 'missing' pokemon. Yeah I bet you could get it on eBay. Well maybe you should try typing things in on eBay until you find an action replay or a gameshark. They're not the same thing if you didn't know. I'm not sure which is better though. I Have an AR but I don't use it that much. I only used it for a couple cheats so you might not want one if your only going to use a couple of cheats then like not use it again. I hope what I wrote is clear and you can understand it.

1)I don't know about Mew and celebi, but I heard that if you trade mewtwo you will get a virus.
2)I don't know if they are compatible.
3) An 'Action Replay' and a 'Gameshark' are basicaly the same thing. So you could use them to get the rare Pokemon that you want, or just about anything on the game.
