I was just wondering how you unlock the mystery gift on ruby/sapphire.

ANSWERS

First, you must have at least five gym badges. Then, go to Petalburg City and go inside the Pokemon center. Talk to the man next to the computer. He will ask you for your profile. Type in: Mystery Events Is Exciting. He will say, "Oh, I didn't realise you were in the Mystery Events club!" Now save the game, turn it off and back on. At the main menu there will be another option below "options".
It will say, Mystery Events.

Collect five badges and talk to the lad beside the PC at the Petalburg City Pokémon Centre. Give him the profile MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING.

Tell the guy who wants your profile in Petalburg City PC place this:
MYSTERY EVENT IS EXCITING

Then save the game and turn it off. On the Continue/New Game/Options screen it should say Mystery Event.

I don't know what you have been told to do, but this works. Press A in front of the paper on the counter of a PokeMart and Put on the lines "Link Together with All". You may want to press select to find the words easier.

Talk to the guy by the computer in petalburg Pokemon center and say to him "mystery gift is exciting" as your profile. Save and turn the gameboy off and then on to get mystery event
