Question for Pokemon Sapphire

How do you catch Latis without a masterball because ive seen it about 8 times and it keeps on fleeing from battle. Please help me I want it!

Use a move like Mean Look or Whirlpool that prevents it from fleeing. Because Latias is a Psychic-type Pok�mon and its offensive moves are of the Psychic type, I strongly recommend that you not use Golbat or Crobat for this.

Just use mean look and just keep throwing ultra balls while his hp is low, and I suggest you put him to sleep.

I think you need the masterball for it. If you dont then use scary face on it to stop it fleeing from battle then work your magic on it. If you didn't get the masterball then you might want to consider getting an action replay like I did.

To catch Latias without it fleeing from you have a pokemon that knows mean look this will trap the pokemon in battle with you and it won't be able to escape. The pokemon that can learn this move are Zubat, Golbat, Crobat, Duskull, and Dusclops. Make sure all there levels are higher then Latias's by at least 10 levels so they are strong enough to withstand the attacks.

Go to the safari zone and catch 3-4 waboffeut and equip the smoke ball to 1 of your waboffeut and wait untill it appears. i tried it before.
