What is a bad egg ? Because I was trading pokemon with my friend david and he traded me a bad egg . he said that it will hatch into deoxys . But he also said something about i need emerald for it to work. So I have a bad egg on my sapphire game and I want to know if it is deoxys ?

Sadly you just got tricked your "friend" lied I sussgest you trade it back to him/her!
A bad egg is a glitch when you use a cheat device. It never hatches,or if it does it will freeze the game. The good thing about it is that it could give your pokemon the pokerus virus.
The pokerus virus is something that raises the points that you get from leveling up. For example the points are like +1. I think i'm right.
But be very cautious, it could really sometimes screw up your game or sometimes deleate your pokemon!
P.S. If your friend told you that and you traded him a good pokemon, he's not your friend.
I think he had a glitch egg when he sent it to you.
(you should ask your friend about it).
You can't trade eggs and if you did somehow, how could you fall for your "friends" trick Deoxys doesn't have a gender so how could you get a Deoxys egg.
They're right! You can't get a Deoxys egg. But eggs that you trade do hatch eventually.
I caught two Relicanth but my brother couldn't find one so I traded him an egg.
It hatched but it WAY longer to hatch than normal eggs.
"bad egg" (glitch egg) + trade from friend = trick-playing "friend"
Ever heard of missingno? It is like a missingno, except and egg. It can delete your file data and/or cause glitches. No they do not hatch into legendary pokemon! This friend of yours knows how damaging to file data it was and tried to dump it on you. Demand a tradeback and read my missingno walkthrough.
