How do you get shiny pokemon without cheating and is anything special about them besides the fact that they are shiny???

Shiny pokemon randomly appear and there is nothing special about them other than the fact that they look awesome

They can be find in the wild or in the Battle Tower, the chance of finding one is little, very little, though i find 3 shinys in my LG and 2 on my Sapphire. But, they are only shiny, there are nothing special about them, and you will problably find them when you don't expect: i find a shiny Magikarp fishing, a shiny Hoot-hoot searching Entei, a shiny Tangela when i was leveling up my Espeon and finnaly a shiny Rattat in the way to Mt. Silver. That was in Gold version. I don't know, maybe I'm just very lucky.

Alright, everytime you encounter a pokemon, there is a 1 in 8,132 chance you will encounter a pokemon that is Shiny.

I think that the only thing they're good for is to brag to your friends that you caught a shiny pokemon without cheating. And occaisonally, you'll think that it's colors are cooler. Fort instance, When you encounter a shiny Abra, it's colors are light, its armour is like pinkish, and itz skin is lighter. When it evolves into Kadabra, nothing really changes, I personally don't like itz colors... However, when it eveolves into Alakazam, it's armour turns a deep purple, and its skin is a deep brown. I really like my Shiny Alakazam. I also caught a shiny zubat, and it was cool, until it eveolved into Crobat, and turned pink.... oh well, same stats, and I still like Crobat.

Hi!

Well I have 6 shiny pokemon and they arn't any better than regular pokemon other than the fact that they are shiny, differently coloured and EXTREMELY RARE. So if you find one in the grass catch it, because the odds of finding them are about 1000000 to 1. So keep them, evolve them and admire them!

You can find ShinyPokemon in the wild, while surfing, etc. And, no nothing is different except that they are shiny, though you can brag that you have a shiny pokemon because they are really rare.

Well, I haven't really encountered a shiney pokemon, but I know that they're not only extremely cool looking, but when you encounter it you can't run away (but that would be REALLY stupid anyway)

I found a shiny latias & latios in my sapphire!!!!!!!!! Now thats lucky. But thres nothing special about them but they are cool
