In Ruby and Sapphire, do I have to see the sparkles around the Pokemon to know if it is shiny?
And do I have to throw a PokeBall to see the sparkles? Of course, I have shinies in my Gold and Crystal Version, but in Ruby and Sapphire, will I see the difference in color of the opposing shiny when I enter battle?
I don't want to miss out on any shinies here, because I have not seen any in my Ruby or Sapphire Versions, and I figured that there was some secret to identifying shinies!
Also, Pokemonst, I like your submission, but how did you escape a battle with a wild shiny Pokemon? I thought it wasn't possible to escape battle with a shiny!

You absolutly have to see the sparkles. The easiest shinies to find are Marill,Swablu,Zubat, and Nincada. At least that is what I heard. Some shiny pokemon look exactly the same in shiny form but have sparkles that go around them.Like Tentacool for instance,It only changes it's color when you transfer it to pokemon colleseum. You see, nintendo saved some shiny forms to only be revealed when you transfer them.Just keep the volume up and you'll hear the sparkles.P.S.You won't miss a shiny pokemon unless you aren't paying attention to your gameboy of course.
Go to gamestop with your gba and sapphire. Make sure you have 5 or less pokemon in your party. Get the berry update and you get a dark-brown zigzagoon holding a leichi berry. Cool ain't it?
