The eon ticket gives you the ability to catch latias or latios.

On each verson you can only get one of the pair but the eon ticket lets you get the second.

To use it you need an e-reader.

You need to show your eon ticket to the sailor to the sleteport or lilycove and they will take you to southern island which you can catch latios.
