Can you catch SHINY Pokemon??????

Yes, it is possible to catch a 'shiny' Pokemon. However, they will not be shiny or a different colour, as they used to be in Gold and Silver.
Now, the only ay to tell if you have caught a shiny Pokemon, is when you look at it's Stats. It's ID nuber will be gold instead of black. The only advantages to a shiny Pokemon is that is stats will be slightly higher than usual, and if it is a female, and it has a baby, the baby will also be shiny.
Well, shiny Pokemon ARE diffrent colors and when they appear on screen, they have stars sparkles around them. My first and only shiny Pokemon was a Golbat that was black with pink wings, I found it in victory road.
But, it didn't take me very long to find it. I was just training my Pokemon and I found it in about 5 min. I used about 5 Ultra balls to get it, so they aren't any harder to catch than normal pokes.
