First of for Pokemon Sapphire I have a GBA emulator for my PSP. I know it's possible to put cheats for games using Action Replay or Game Shark, but every time I enable a Game Shark or Action Replay cheat it will not work, nothing happens. Any help?

When using an emulator, not all codes that will work on a real handheld will work.
Make sure that where you got the codes it says whether or not they are compatible with the emulator.
It may also require special instruction with the Mastercode (ex Mastercode be entered in differently than the code itself or no Mastercode at all)
It all depends on the codes.
Be sure to check back if the codes are compatible.
