You gotta go through the ice completing the maze going through it once without stepping on it twice.If you need a clearer answer,I suggest you look in the guidebook for the game or search it online on the net.

If you are talking about walking on the ice, my answer to you is that you can only step on a tile of ice once, and if you step on it twice you will fall through the ground. Also, you have to step n every ile once so that you can walk up steps to the gym leader
