2. Make a Golbat very happy in Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald and Trade it (you CAN'T make it happy in fire red or leaf green)

1.Trade a Sedra with a Dragon Scale.
2.Make a Golbat Evolve by being nice to it like giving it protein or rare candys or by leveling it up and walking around with it.
3.You find a Metal Coat on the island after a Surf from one of the Sevi islands as for Kings Rock I don't know.
4.You Trade an Onix with the Metal Coat.

You need the metal coat for steelix. Get an onix to hold the metal coat and Trade it.
Get really friendly with a golbat, and when it's really happy (feed it yummy pokeblocks, and give it nice items etc...) it will Evolve on it's next level up (you can tell it likes you because it will come close to you when you try to give it an item.)
You need to give a dragon scale to a seadra and Trade it to get a kingdra.
You will find a dragon scale on Water Path.
You will find a metal coat in Memorial Pillar.
You will find a king's rock in Sevault Canyon.
