What is the easiest way to catch a Chansey, where in the Safari Zone can you find them?

I caught Chansey by throwing a rock at it and praying that it wouldn't flee. Then, with a bit of luck, I then threw a Safari Ball and captured it! Chansey can be found ANYWHERE in the Safari Zone...except on water, of course.

Throw 1 bait(this will make it slightly harder to catch) cause that will keep the chansey in the battle and throw your safari balls, or you can throw it as soon as you find it.
Chansey can be found every where in the Safari Zone.

Really there is no easy way to catch Chansey and you find it in the north-east.

Chanseys are NOT found everywhere in the Safari Zone. Only areas 1 and 3(3 is most common, but it's only 4% while 1 is 1%)
