You can get Mew in mewtwos cave.... After you beat the elite4 12 times and caught or beat up Mewtwo....
Or....
U can talk to the teachy tv guy then Surf along the right COAST of Cinnabar Island, make sure you have a rare candy and a free slot in your party.U will meet a lv a hundred pokemon(u can catch it or beat it)or something called M if it's lv0 catch it(if it gets in your pc you're game will be messed) (if not lv0 beat it or run away)then feed it rare candy and it should turn into a Mew.
