You need to get the secret key from the Pokemon Mansion to get inside the gym

Have a Pokemon thats able to swim,next go to the water and swim to Cinnabar Island using the Pokemon that can swim.Before you do that,make sure you have an item finder.When you're on Cinnabar Island,the gym is locked.Use the item finder near the gym and the key should be pointing towards it.
