Question for Pokemon FireRed

I got the game a couple of day ago, I've beaten all the other games but how do you get into saffron city, it wont let me get past the gaurd and I have waters sodas and lemonades but I can't read Japanese so I don't know what he's saying.

Now, instead of giving the guard those drinks, go to the Pokémon Mansion and talk with the old lady. She will give you a Tea. Give it to the guard and you will can acess Saffron!
