Question for Pokemon FireRed
My buddy gave my his Charizard. I went to the Island 2 lady but she says she is mistaken! He's in front of my party,too!!???!!!??

Is the Charizard above the level of 50? If not..level it up a little bit or more and then go back to the old lady

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. The Lady says she is mistaken? I think that means that the Charizard isn't friendly with you, or you don't have a badge that has the Pokemon at certain level obey you.
Please use more informatiton next time.

You're trying to get that special move for him, right? Well, you can ONLY do that for your Starter, even if you didn't get his move from her, she'll only give it to your starter and no other Pokemon, even if it's a starter, it has to be YOUR original Starter-I hope you didn't Trade him out for Charizard, b/c then you guys need to trade back, get them their moves, then trade back again. It's a one-time only special thing, sorry!

She will only teach your first Pokemon Hydro Conon or Frenzy Plant depending on which poke'mon you chose and she will do it only once.

This is my guess: since you said it's your buddy's Charizard, i'll assume you started with something else. Maybe she is pre-set to have the move that corresponds to your Starter Pokemon. Try your Starter first, then try again with charizard later. If that doesn't work, then she does only teach the move of your starter. Like I said this is a guess, I haven;t been in your situation.
