If you are talking about the original Red version then go ask that there. If you can't find it in their question and answer section then google it.
If you are talking about Fire Red then you need a cheat device.

Why are you asking this in the Fire Red questions?
There's some glitch, but I have no clue what it is. And if you mean this version(Fire Red), then you need to use a Cheating Device, like Gameshark, or Action Replay

If you mean Fire Red I know. After you get Cut lose to a trainer. Then after you beat the 5th gym go back S.S.ANNE,but don`t get on it. Instead Surf around in the water. You could run into Mew.

You can get Mew by using a cheat device or on september 28, 2006 if you went to toy are us like I did and got mew.
