How do I beat Gary's Tyranitar?

Well tyranitar is a ground Pokemon, so you should use a water type Pokemon, or maybe a grass. I suggest anything that you can teach Surf to.
Keep trying. You may want to try a little training and raise you levels all round.

Well a good Earthquake will rock his world. Also a fighting type move will deal awesome damage to his Tyranitar, sincefighting types are good against dark and rock, which is what Tyranitar is. Also a good Surf, or a Grass type will suffice. Hope this helps.

Well if you have a Pokemon that has earthquake use it. It will deal major damage(somtimes kill instant).Or you can use Water moves(i'm not sure if it works sorry)

Drop it's hp to 0 duh. :P Ok, for real though, I know Earthquake works well on him.

You could use Fighting, Grass, Ground, Water, Bug, or Steel type Pokemon/moves. (Steel and Bug Pokemon are not highly recommended, but the moves are good.)

In order to beat Gary's Tyranitar you have to use a grass typer like Venausaur or use a water type like blastoise.

Get a strong water type Pokemon like gyarados or dewgong and have it use a good water type move like Surf or Hydro Pump.

Get a really strong water monster with Surf, or a weaker one with hydro pump/ cannon.

If u have a grass type eg venusaur or victreebel use frenzy plant or giga drain

Oh tyranitar I beat him with my lapras lvl 59 I recommend you have you're Pokemon levl 65-100 for gary is stronger but I had my under level for action and intesity but I used surd about 2-3 that killed him but if you get critical then 1 hit dead!;)

Tyranitar is a rock and dark type Pokemon you should use water,grass or fighting type Pokemon to beat gary's Tyranitar.

Forget tryig water, ice and grass. Use fighting type moves, because he is rock and dark type he takes 4x whereas if you use water, ice and grass it'll only be 2x as effective. The reason for this is because fighting type attacks are super effective against both dark and rock whereas if you use water, ice, grass, steel etc.. It's only super effective against one type or the other. A common fighting type move that's rather cheap, has relatively high damage, pp amount and can be used by a ton of different Pokemon is Brick Brake. There are a ton of better fighting type moves but this one can be bought rather cheaply at celadon department store and can be learned by a ton of different types of Pokemon.
